Newton Youth Soccer has hired Mass Premier Soccer to provide professional coaching to our travel team players this fall season.  Unlike the coaching sessions provided in the past (where each team was allowed to sign up for two coaching slots) this season, every player/team will be assigned to a particular time slot during the week.  We have spent time reviewing the practice schedules and tried to create time slots that will not conflict with a team’s regularly scheduled practice.  The change in how we utilize the professional coaching will allow the players to determine if they want to go to the extra practices on their own, independent of their team.

All practices will take place at Albemarle Field between the 11v11 and 8v8 fields and beneath the lights.  This will allow us to keep the practices going even as the days grow shorter.  The training will run from September 15 to November 6.  If the fields are open, the training is happening…please remember to check the Field Status page before heading out to the practice.

Below is a grid I created to show you your designated time.  We are going to start this season following this grid and evaluate how it works.  If there are any changes during the season, I will send you an e-mail to let you know.  ONLY SHOW UP TO THE PRACTICE TIME ALLOCATED TO YOUR TEAM.  We have tried our best to spread out the time slots evenly so we can keep the coaching sessions manageable.
